Dr. Anna Brasher Moreau

Be At Ease

All about me!

Dr. Anna Brasher Moreau was born in Alexandria but was transplanted to Texas at age 5 and grew up in San Antonio. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Biology and earned the distinguished honor of Phi Beta Kappa for academic excellence. She immediately began pursuing her dream to become a pediatric dentist and obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX. Following dental school she completed a 2 year specialty program in pediatric dentistry at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH and received a Masters degree from the Ohio State University.

Dr. Anna is Board Certified in pediatric dentistry. She is also a fellow of the American College of Dentists and is a member of the Louisiana Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Southwestern Society of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is actively involved in organized dentistry and is a Past-President of the Central Louisiana Dental Association. Dr. Moreau is also committed to the high standards and excellence of pediatric dentistry and serves on the examining committee of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Anna lives in Alexandria and is married with 3 daughters. Outside of the office, she is a busy mom who loves supporting her girls in their many activities.  In her downtime, Dr. Anna enjoys cooking, gardening and is a Peloton fanatic. She also spends a lot of time supporting other organizations that are close to her heart. She is proud to have served on the Board of the Rapides Foundation, River Oaks Art Center and the American Heart Association.

What was my first job?

My first job was as a lifeguard and swim instructor. I taught children how to swim for 5 summers and loved every minute of it.

If I wasn’t a dentist, I would be…

A chef.  I love to cook and enjoy entertaining. My daughter teases me and says I should have my own cooking show called the Cooking Dentist. (I am obsessed with Pioneer Woman).
