Understanding Your Insurance Benefits

Dental insurance can sometimes be confusing. Every insurance plan is different, and benefits vary based on your employer and policy.

While we are happy to help explain your benefits, it is important to understand that your insurance policy is a contract between you, your employer, and your insurance company. We do not determine your coverage, deductibles, annual maximums, or co-payments.

Our goal is to help you understand your estimated benefits before treatment so there are no surprises.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Any estimated portion not covered by your insurance—including deductibles, co-payments, co-insurance, or services not covered by your plan—is due at the time services are provided.

If your insurance company pays differently than expected, our office will either refund any overpayment or bill any remaining balance after your claim has been processed.

We Are Here to Help

Insurance benefits can change from year to year, and navigating them isn’t always easy. Our knowledgeable team is happy to answer questions and help you understand:

  • Insurance eligibility
  • Estimated coverage
  • Deductibles
  • Co-payments
  • Annual maximums
  • Pre-treatment estimates (when applicable)

We’ll do everything we can to help you make informed decisions about your child’s dental care.
