Dr. Jane Herrington
All about me!
Dr. Jane Herrington, a through-and-through Louisiana native, was born in Shreveport and grew up in Florien, Louisiana. She graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a Degree in Biology. She then attended LSU Dental School in New Orleans, where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2003. Following dental school, she completed a one-year residency program in Advanced Education General Dentistry.
Dr. Jane Herrington is a member of the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, and the Central Louisiana Dental Association. She is passionate about staying at the top of her field. She stays up to date on the latest continuing education courses, allowing her to provide the best care for her patients. She also has a heart for service and recently participated in a week-long mission trip to Honduras.
Dr. Jane resides in Alexandria with her husband and three children. Always on the go, she stays busy supporting her children in their many activities. In her free time, Dr. Jane enjoys exercising, working in her yard, painting, and sewing. She actively supports her community and has served as a Purple Ambassador for the American Cancer Society.
What was my first job?
My first job was at a flower shop. My favorite thing to do was arranging flowers, and this inspired a lifelong love of working with my hands.
If I wasn’t a dentist, I would be…
An Interior Decorator. I love working in my house, painting or sewing drapes, and any DIV projects I can get my hands on!
